Before July 14:
By July 2 – Ensure your preferred Secure Access information is up to date in your online banking Settings. Go to Security Preferences and select Secure Delivery.
Look for communication from UMB close to conversion weekend with login instructions to your new Premier Business Online Banking platform.
Download the UMB Mobile Banking app from the app store for your mobile device to have it ready to set up your first-time access on July 14.
Conversion weekend availability:
July 11 – Current online/mobile banking available until 8 p.m. CT
July 12-13 – Current online/mobile banking unavailable
July 14 – Log in to Premier Business Online Banking with your new credentials
July 14 – ACH Filter customers must log in and validate user notifications, settings and authorization/payment rules are accurate.
July 14 – ACH Filter items must be decisioned before the 7 p.m. CT cut off. This first-time decisioning will include two days of items.
Online Banking Services
First-time access and account statements
Registered users can visit UMB.com/business-online-banking to log in to the platform.
Follow these steps for your first-time access to Premier Online Banking and the Mobile Banking app:
- Visit UMB.com or download the UMB mobile banking app.
- Enter your new User ID. Your new User ID will be delivered to you prior to conversion weekend.
- Enter your existing password, then follow the prompts to set a new password for Premier Business Online Banking.
- Select how you would like to receive your secure access code.
- Enter your secure access code.
- You will be prompted to verify your information and enter a new password. In the mobile app, you’ll have the option to set up biometric (face ID or touch ID) authentication. You should delete your previous mobile banking app at this time.
- Review your accounts, preferences, alerts, user setups and their access to accounts and functionality, payments, scheduled and recurring transfers, payments to loans/lines of credit or credit cards, Bill Pay payees and payments, ACH and wire templates, etc.
Once your initial login is successful, you will need to review and accept the UMB Online Banking Agreement and register your device.
If you need more than 18 months of historical statements and transaction history, download and save that information from your current online banking account before July 11.
Historical account analysis statements will not be transferred to UMB systems. You should also save these for your records before July 11.

Important service information
Check-free business bill pay is available through Premier Business Online Banking.
After your first-time login, review sub-user roles within Bill Pay to ensure user roles are allocated appropriately. Depending on a user’s needs, roles must be allocated for the sub-user.
Please note, Payments Calendar is not available in Bill Pay.

Lockbox detail information is available in the UMB Image Lockbox portal. You can access the portal through Premier Business Online Banking.
Your existing lockbox numbers and processing instructions will not change. For most customers, no action is required. If there is an impact requiring any customer action, we will contact you prior to conversion weekend.
Premier Business Online Banking users will have access to mobile Remote Deposit Capture (mRDC) within the online banking menus. This feature does not require any action, as enrollment is automatic once accessed.
If you submit issue files via SFTP, you will have new file transfer destinations, which are provided in the online resource center.

Scammers often try to exploit business transitions, like acquisitions and mergers. Please remember: We will never contact you to request or confirm confidential information or request a video call, and we’ll never ask for sensitive data like PINs, usernames, passwords or access codes. If you suspect fraud, contact your current customer service team immediately.
Commonly asked questions
You can log in to Premier Business Online Banking at UMB.com/business-online-banking. At your first-time login, follow the prompts to set a password and register your browser (if desired).
Your scheduled or recurring bill payments will carry over to UMB Premier Business Online Banking.
However, after July 14, we do recommend reviewing bill payments in your online account to make sure your payees, payments and other information migrated correctly.
Any recurring, automatic internal transfers you set up in online banking before July 11 will carry over to your UMB Premier Business Online Banking account. However, after July 14, we do recommend reviewing transfers in your online account to make sure your settings and other information migrated correctly.
If you have set up external account transfers, those transfers will not carry over as this functionality will not be supported.
Access to submit a transfer in your current online banking will be unavailable the evening of July 11. Beginning July 14, you’ll be able to submit a transfer in UMB Online Banking.
If you currently receive electronic statements, you’ll continue to receive electronic statements from UMB.
If you don’t currently receive electronic statements, we’ll provide you with both paper and electronic statements by default. You can always update your preference to electronic statements-only if desired.
We provide individual statements for each of your accounts, rather than a combined statement.

For most customers, you do not need to update your one-time or recurring ACH transactions at this time. For now, continue to use your existing routing and account number information. If you need to make an update, we will contact you directly and provide additional information.
Yes, all templates, recipients, and scheduled or recurring series ACH payments will convert to UMB Premier Business Online Banking.
The last date you can initiate ACH transactions before conversion weekend is Friday, July 11.
At conversion we will be migrating over 90 days’ worth of transaction history. Going forward 18 months of transaction history will be available for customers to review.
