Your current wire sender information that is sent with a wire payment message is filled from the Account field.

Beginning July 14:

  • Your wire sender information will be populated from the Subsidiary field within the wire form.
  • Wire Intermediary Bank Fields are not an available field for international wires. Outgoing wires that require an intermediary are routed by UMB using its wire routing tools.

FX wires are not available in Premier Business Online Banking. If you currently initiate FX wires, you will receive a separate communication.

Online wires for personal (consumer) accounts:

If you send wires in online banking for your personal (consumer) accounts, you will no longer be able to do so at UMB. You will have the ability to send wires from consumer accounts by visiting your local branch, or as an authorized user via phone call.

Review our Wires resources, including video demos and user guides for adding recipients, creating a template and more.

Important fraud reminder

Scammers often try to exploit business transitions, like acquisitions and mergers. Please remember: We will never contact you to request or confirm confidential information or request a video call, and we’ll never ask for sensitive data like PINs, usernames, passwords or access codes. If you suspect fraud, contact your current customer service team immediately.
