TRANSITION RESOURCE CENTER

Minnesota Bank & Trust
joins UMB Bank

Welcome to UMB Personal Banking

We’re focused on making this transition as smooth as possible—before, during and after conversion weekend, July 11-13, 2025. We’re excited to begin serving you as a UMB customer on July 14, 2025.

This site offers important information about changes that will impact your accounts and services as you transition to UMB. Please bookmark and continue to reference this resource center throughout the transition.

We’ll continue to provide updates as we prepare for our system conversion over the weekend of July 11-13.

At this time, only accounts and services with Minnesota Bank & Trust are moving to UMB in July. If you bank at a different division of UMB, stay tuned for information about your system conversion in October 2025.

Current action items:

  • By July 2 – Verify and update personal contact information through your current online banking, visiting a branch or calling customer service at 877-280-1860.

  • By July 2 – Ensure your preferred Secure Access information is up to date in your online banking Settings. Go to Security Preferences and select Secure Delivery.

  • By early July – Review activation instructions included with your new UMB debit or ATM card.

  • Continue to use your current debit and ATM cards through Sunday, July 13.

  • Make a list of third parties that have your debit card number stored for automatic payments or direct deposits. You may need to update these after conversion weekend.

Bank safely: Watch for scammers

Scammers often try to exploit business transitions, like acquisitions and mergers. Before, during and after our conversion, please remember:

  • We’ll never contact you to request or confirm confidential data like your account numbers or card numbers or ask for your full Social Security number.
  • We’ll never request a live video call (e.g., FaceTime) to confirm fraudulent activity.
  • We’ll never contact you to ask for your PINs, usernames, passwords or access codes.

If someone calls, texts, or sends email or mail claiming to be with your bank and asking for sensitive information—or if something simply doesn’t seem right—stop contact and immediately call customer service:
